I truly love teaching my students and want to give them all that I can. I started out just like many of you, a yogi: a student of yoga.
After seven years of practicing yoga postures on my mat, I decided that I wanted to dig deeper. I enrolled in the YogaWorks RYT-200 Instructor’s Course in Costa Mesa, CA, in April 2017. Armed with philosophy, teaching tools, and anatomy knowledge, I graduated and started teaching. However, I still hadn’t acquired all that I wanted. I came back for more.
I completed the YogaWorks RYT-300 Professional Program March 2018. It was very challenging, but I enjoyed the journey immensely. I had about twelve classmates and we absorbed everything we could and grew professionally as we attended our mentorship meetings and three modules: philosophy, asana, and teaching tools and techniques. The instruction completely changed my yoga journey. My increased confidence has driven me to start my own business, with an emphasis on special populations (veterans and first responders), in an effort to bring yoga to them.
The journey isn’t about becoming a different person, but loving who you are right now.

I reside in Orange County and I am looking for teaching opportunities (classes as well as offering private lessons) in the: Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Seal Beach and Newport Beach areas. My special interests are: alignment yoga, hatha yoga, vinyasa flow, gentle yoga, and trauma-based yoga. In order to offer my students even more, I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. In the future, I am hoping to take a trauma-based yoga course with Yoga for First Responders so that I may more effectively serve this special population.
During my free time, I enjoy the outdoors with my family. Frequently, we enjoy walks in the Back Bay, Bolsa Chica, and the beaches. If you spend any time in Huntington Beach or Balboa Peninsula, you may see us pedaling our bikes (with smiles and laughter) along the bike paths.
Yoga has helped me to gain confidence, strength, flexibility, and calmness. I hope that you too can acquire these benefits, or perhaps, some others that yoga offers.
I look forward to seeing you all on the mat.
